Where is Parker psychotherapy located?

Parker Psychotherapy is based in Ontario and offers virtual therapy across Ontario and throughout Canada. We are a fully online practice, making it easier for you to access care from the comfort of home.
Note: Daniel Parker (R.P.) offers walk and talk therapy within Petawawa, Ontario

Who will I be working with?

We are a team of Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying), each with their own specialties and therapeutic styles.

What are your fees?

  • Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying): (Sessions are 50-60 minutes in length)

    • All session types are $160

    Registered Psychotherapists: (Sessions are 50-60 minutes in length)

    • Individual: $180

    • Couples/Families: $220

We offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you find the right fit.

Are services covered by insurance?

Most extended health plans in Ontario cover sessions with Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying).
We also offer direct billing for Medavie Blue Cross (Veterans Affairs) with services provided by Daniel or Kelsey Parker (R.P.)

Please confirm coverage with your provider before starting if this is a concern, as we cannot guarantee coverage as it is dependent on plan types and providers.

Do you offer services that are not Faith-Integrated?

Yes—Christian and Catholic -integrated therapy is available for clients who request it, however we welcome all people no matter their faith background and are happy to offer services without Faith integration.
We respect every client’s spiritual beliefs and only integrate faith-based practices when desired by the client.

Do you work with children or teens?

Daniel or Autumn are able to work with children under the age of 12 years old with two consenting parents, children age 12+ can consent to their own treatment and are welcome to see any of our therapists.

It is not within our scope of practice to work with families in custody disputes, however we are happy to help you find the most suitable referral.

What should I expect at my first session?

Before your first session, you’ll receive intake and consent forms through our secure system. Your first session will focus on getting to know you, understanding your goals, and beginning to build a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship.

What if I’m not sure if therapy is right for me?

That’s okay. Starting therapy is a big decision. We offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so you can ask questions and see if our team feels like a good fit—no pressure.
